Introduction to Kitchen and Bath

St. Mary's Kitchen and Bath Design program was recently named a National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Supported Program. This supported status is granted to kitchen and bath design programs at colleges, universities, and technical institutes that have met specific educational requirements established by the National Kitchen & Bath Association on the path toward full NKBA accreditation.

The introduction to Kitchen and Bath Design is a course intended for designers, architects and homebuilders interested in expanding their knowledge of kitchen and bath design as well as those who are entering the industry. The program last 13 weeks long and consists of 39 class hours.

The course teaches concepts such as the BasicWork Triangle that will help you become a more successful practitioner. A combination of coursework, trips to top showrooms and visits from guest speakers are included. All lessons are based on the requirements of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Guidelines.
