The demands placed upon individuals in today's society require many of them to engage in life-long education. St. Mary's University provides public service programs that are geared toward life-long learning opportunities. These programs are designed in response to the educational need for different target audiences where a gap between an individual's current level of competencies is needed. Also programs are developed for those who are interested in entering a new field. Qualified instructors, who are actually working in the field, are directly involved in planning each program. Programs are continually updated to meet the changing needs in each field. Career enhancements and retraining programs are clearly emphasized with both CEUs and certification courses.
