We provide holistic, strategic, and innovative advising, services, programs and resources to students, alumni, employers, agencies, faculty and the University community that promote and facilitate successful career development and community engagement.
We encourage one-on-one contact with Career and/or Service Advisors to discuss major/career path options, job/internship/volunteer/civic engagement opportunity search strategies, and graduate or professional school ambitions.
At the Civic Engagement and Career Development Center, we provide a number of resources for successful career development and community engagement. The Civic Engagement and Career Development Center provides students with a Computer Lab, Employer and Agency Files, a job, internship and volunteer search database, and an extensive resource print library with almost 100 titles.
Each year the Civic Engagement and Career Development Center organizes over a hundred programs to prepare students for careers and to involve them in their community through service and civic engagement. In addition, center staff create opportunitities to network with corporate, governmental, non-profit partners and alumni. The Civic Engagement and Career Development Center helps students connect with opportunties through On-Campus Interviews, Resume Referrals, Career Fairs, and the Rattler Connect job, internship and volunteer listing online database.
