Tanuja Singh is the Dean of the Bill Greehey School of Business. She holds a doctorate in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
Singh's teaching, research, and consulting interests include global and cross-cultural marketing strategy, digital marketing, and public policy issues in marketing. She has published over 45 papers in internationally acclaimed journals, and national and international conferences. Her papers have been published in such journals as Business Horizons, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Research in Consumer Behavior, International Business Review, International Journal of Electronic Marketing and Retailing Journal of Global Marketing, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Journal of Asia Pacific Business, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales management, The Marketing Management Journal, Journal of Not-for-Profit and Public Sector Marketing and Journal of Vacation Marketing, among others. She is the co-author of a book on digital marketing titled Surfing the Rift: The Executive's Guide to Marketing in the Post Web 2.0 World.
Singh has served as a consultant to several private and public sector organizations including Fortune 500 companies. She has received several research grants from private and public sector organizations and conducted many workshops and seminars in the U.S. and abroad on topics pertaining to international business, cross-cultural and multicultural communication and e-commerce.
She serves on the editorial boards of three marketing journals—Managing Service Quality, Journal of Marketing Communications, and the Journal of the Korean Academy of Marketing Science. She also serves on the Board of San Antonio Children’s Shelter and KLRN San Antonio. She has traveled extensively and maintains an active network of colleagues and friends from around the world.
