Points of Pride
The Bill Greehey School of Business offers innovative programs designed to prepare students for real-world leadership and lifelong achievement. Comprehensive programs equip students for today s global and technological environment.A one-year/full-time M.B.A. program, five-year combined Bachelor and Master of Business Administration and a joint J.D./M.B.A. program that can be completed in three to four years.
Values-driven M.B.A. takes wing
What makes the Greehey M.B.A. different? First, it builds on the components of a socially responsive business model - social entrepreneurship, sustainability and ethics and corporate social responsibility. Second, it uses an experiential and problem-solving model of learning. Classes involve industry partnerships, and a majority of courses are lab-based. Third, integral to the program are Values labs (V-labs) and Advance Behavioral Skills (ABS), which address a range of topics from conflict resolution to spiritual and emotional well-being. Finally, there is a required global immersion component. Whether it is a service immersion project in Costa Rica or a lesson in the wine economics of Bordeaux, the new M.B.A. translates global education into something tangible. Applications are being accepted now for the Fall 2012 cohort. Scholarships are available for qualified candidates.
Meet our New M.B.A. Director
This new approach to creating a values-driven M.B.A. requires a leader with the passion and expertise to translate that vision into reality. Meet Earnie Broughton, our new M.B.A. director. With 30 years of management and executive experience, he is not your typical college professor. Well known in the ethics and corporate social responsibility world, he brings tremendous industry knowledge and a vast network of connections.
