MySpaceSchool Requirements
The Bill Greehey School of Business and St. Mary’s University has adopted the following changes in undergraduate admission, retention, and graduation standards effective Fall Semester, 2007:- Students will be officially admitted after completion of 45 hours at St. Mary’s University (or at least 45 hours transferred in from another institution of similar academic standing). The 45 hours must include three (3) hours in Economics, three (3) hours in Mathematics, and three (3) hours in Accounting. Prior to the 45 hours completion, students will be considered pre-business in terms of a major.
- A 2.25 overall GPA is required for admittance, retention, and graduation in the Greehey School.
- Greehey School students must obtain a grade of "C" or better in all Business courses. In addition, a student must obtain a "C" or better in the required six (6) hours in Economics (EC2301 and EC2303) and the six (6) hours in Mathematics (MT1305 and MT 1306). Students will not be allowed to take a BBA course until the student has satisfied all pre-requisites for that course.
- Transfer students must satisfy these admission requirements before being admitted into a BBA program/major in the Greehey School.
- In addition to these requirements, students will submit a formal admittance application that provides evidence of (1) leadership experiences, (2) commitment to technical excellence, (3) commitment to professional development, and (4) interest in global issues.
