Unlike other majors, which allow one to specialize in a specific functional area, General Business will prepare a graduate for management positions and a broad range of career options, including but not limited to, starting a business, managing a family business, entering a management training program in a large company, and preparing for graduate school.

Three elective courses can be selected from a variety of offerings in accounting, entrepreneurial studies, finance, human resources, information systems, international, business, and marketing. Unlike other majors which allow one to specialize in a specific functionsl area, the General Business major will prepare graduates for management positions and a broad range of career choices.
