Bookstore Accounts
How do I add a bookstore charge?
Bookstore charges are automatically opened at the beginning of each semester for the following categories of students:
- Undergraduates who have priority registered
- Law students who have priority registered
If you are a graduate student who has priority registered and would like to request a bookstore charge, you can do so by e-mailing the Business Office at businessoffice@stmarytx.edu.
Bookstore charge amounts are as follows:

How can I close my bookstore account?
Students can request to close their bookstore account at anytime. This request can be e-mailed to businessoffice@stmarytx.edu. You may also fax a written request to (210) 431-6749. Please be sure to include your student ID.
Only full amounts may be requested to be closed - no partials. Bookstore accounts cannot be reopened for the semester once they have been closed. Once your account is closed, you will see how much you actually spent on your billing.
For example:

In this example, the total "Bookstore amount owed" is the total amount billed.
If you do not wish to close your account, then you may continue to use it for the remainder of the semester. Bookstore accounts are automatically closed at the end of every semester. Please check your University e-mail for updates and expected closure dates.
The Business Office will also periodically review accounts and may close this account at any time due to non -
payment and/or lack of financial obligations with the student account balance.
