Project Summary

The St. Mary’s University Barrett Memorial Bell Tower project stands as a beacon of excellence and pride in northwest San Antonio and complements the University’s recent revitalization and beautification efforts.

The 100-foot tower symbolizes our rich history and Marianist traditions. Its constant and reverent toll will be heard throughout the community, chiming the “Bells of St. Mary’s” to serve as a reminder that St. Mary’s University has never ceased its belief in education and community building.

The Bell Tower project is personally endorsed by Charles T. Barrett Jr., a St. Mary’s alumnus and president and CEO of Barrett Holdings Inc. He and his wife, Melissa, have made the lead gift and strongly support the spiritual inspiration the Bell Tower will bring to our campus.
