Sports Information

St. Mary's University provides timely information for the local, regional and national media as well as fans, alumni and boosters of the Rattler Athletics’ Program. The University Communications Office covers and publicizes all 12 varsity sports, and is responsible for the content of the St. Mary's University athletics Web site, rattlerathletics.com. The Sports Information Director is responsible for arranging all interviews with student-athletes and coaches, compiling and archiving statistics, writing game stories and producing publications for all sports.

The St. Mary’s Sports Information Student Assistant Program

St. Mary’s University offers students the opportunity to work in the exciting field of collegiate athletics.

Students are involved in all aspects of sports information, including working at home events, writing feature stories, managing content on the athletics Web site, helping to update and maintain the sports information archives and layout and design of sports guides.

Working with Smolik for the 2008-2009 academic year are Max Kosub, Brandon Mazzaco, Luke Smith, John Torstrick and Kristy Wainwright.

MEDIA SERVICES

All St. Mary’s home athletic events are broadcast live over the Internet at www.stmarytx.edu/athletics/?go=snkpit. Information on how to listen is on the site.

Accredited media members will be given access to Bill Greehey Arena to cover the Rattlers and their opponents.

St. Mary’s University sports information provides each media member with notes for each school competing, updated stats and sports guides.

PARKING

St. Mary’s University is located just northwest of downtown San Antonio. Bill Greehey Arena is located in the heart of the St. Mary’s campus on Rattler Drive.

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no designated media parking area at Bill Greehey Arena. If you have special needs for parking, please contact the SID at (210) 431-4379.
