The St. Mary's University Dance Team consists of both male and female dancers who perform at halftime of the St. Mary's home basketball games. The dance team provides great opportunities for St. Mary's students. It is a fun way to meet new people and get involved on campus. The dance team is financially supported through the University.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I have to have dance experience to tryout?
    Dance experience is not necessary, but it is extremely helpful. You do not need to make up your own routine.
  • How often do you practice?
    Code Blue usually practices three to four times a week for about two hours.
  • What kind of dancing do you do?
    Since we perform at halftime of the basketball games, our dances aim to please the crowd, which consists of mostly college students. The dances range from jazz to some hip hop.

 Tryout Date for 2009:
April 25, 10 a.m.
In the Movement Studio, located in the AACC.
Application and 2 evaluations are needed at the time of tryouts.
