Rosario Gonzalez is in her 11th year as the St. Mary's University Athletic Department Secretary. At St. Mary's she supervises a staff of 15-20 student workers, serves as department liaison with game officials, coordinates the use of department vehicles and works with ticket sales on game day of athletic events.

Prior to joining the St. Mary's University Athletic Department she worked for the Archdiocese of San Antonio for five years, serving as an administrative assistant and working in the accounts receivable department. She also worked at Palo Alto Community College for four years.

Gonzalez received her Associate of Arts degree from Palo Alto College in 1997. She went on to get her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources at St. Mary's University in 2009. She is an alumna of the Non-Traditional Students Organization at St. Mary's, having previously served as the vice president. She is a Cantor with the Spanish Choir at St. Vincent De Paul Church, and is also a CCD teacher for pre-kindergarten-to-kindergarten-aged children.

She is married to Daniel Gonzalez and the couple has four children, Loretta, Robert, Daniel and Joseph. They are also grandparents to four children, Robert Jr., Ivan, Alyxis and Viktoria.
