Jamie Jolliffe Jamie Jolliffe
Assistant Athletic Trainer

Recently graduated with a master's, Jamie Jolliffe enters the athletic training helm stacked with experience, and passion.

"I just like athletics and I knew I wanted to be in the medical field so athletic training was a good fit," she says.

Jolliffe completed her bachelor's degree in science and athletic training in 2010 from Washington State University where she was a student trainer for three years. Still clear on her future profession, Jolliffe continued her studies at Utah State University to earn a master's degree in exercise and sports science in 2012. She kept up her training in graduate school, becoming a graduate assistant athletic trainer during her two years in Utah.

Finding her way to Texas after five years under Division I universities, Jolliffe expects the same fulfillment at St. Mary's.

"I found St. Mary's and I thought it would be interesting to work at a Division II school because I've only had experience at Division I schools and I wanted to expand my horizons," she said.

Jolliffe's talents and knowledge will partner with head athletic trainer, Nathan Byerley, as his new assistant aiding in the health and care of St. Mary's 200 student-athletes.

A native from Boise, Idaho, Jolliffe has found a new home in Rattler county
