Scott Fonger is going into his third year as NCAA Compliance Officer. A St. Mary's graduate (B.A. '00), Fonger has split his career between working in compliance in the investment industry and training athletes as a tennis teaching professional. This position allows him to merge these two passions while working for the university he still affectionately refers to as "home."

Fonger still plays tennis competitively across Texas when he is not busy managing the home games for the university. He has a son, Gavin, who often attends home games with his dad and is already planning his 2027 graduation from St. Mary's.
