Heritage Club

The St. Mary's Heritage Club was established in 1990 to honor graduates of 1940. Each year, the University honors the newest members of the Heritage Club — those who graduated from St. Mary's 50 years earlier automatically join the Club membership rolls. Heritage Club members receive an invitation to special events on campus and to a private Mass and reception in the fall attended by the Marianists. A commemorative medal is given to each new Heritage Club member at an annual reunion reception held during Homecoming Weekend in the spring. Also invited to the reception are all Heritage Club members from previous years.

In addition to participating in a variety of social activities, the Heritage Club conducts a fundraising campaign each year in support of the St. Mary's Fund. The Heritage Club Giving Program is a volunteer-driven campaign. Because gifts from Heritage Club members benefit the St. Mary's Annual Fund, an unrestricted fund that touches every student on campus, each year's reunion class strives to reach 100 percent giving participation.
