From CEOs of major corporations and private business owners to teachers, religious leaders and professionals-the Distinguished Alumni of St. Mary’s University are all accomplished, successful individuals. While they may come from different walks of life they have one thing in common-St. Mary’s University. They carry with them the lessons learned at their alma mater…not only in the classroom but also from their fellow students and most certainly from the Marianists. These individuals are the sons and daughters of St. Mary’s University and, as all alumni are, they are treasured members of our alumni family.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is given each year to those individuals selected by the Awards and Recognition Committee of the Alumni Association. The awards are presented during the Distinguished Alumni Dinner held during Homecoming Weekend. Dues-paying members of the Alumni Association provide nominees.
