Full Scholarships Available for Catholic Educators

St. Mary’s University this fall will begin offering full scholarships to graduate students with the potential to be outstanding administrators in the local Catholic schools. In an effort to continue increasing the quality and effectiveness of educators in Catholic schools, St. Mary’s is offering up to 10 full scholarships a year for qualified candidates to the Catholic School Leadership Program, which offers a master’s degree tailored for Catholic school administrators. In exchange for the full scholarship, students commit to working in local Catholic schools for at least four years after graduation.

Marianist Trust Gives $411,000 to St. Mary's

The Marianist Trust has allocated more than $411,000 to scholarships and programs for the 2008-2009 academic year. This is the largest single-year gift from the Trust to the University. More than $380,400 of the gift will be used for scholarships and financial grants. The remaining $30,500 is earmarked for the Marianist Leadership Program, which coordinates activities, including special courses, retreats, discussions and service projects, for the undergraduate students who are awarded Marianist Trust scholarships.

Greehey School of Business Earns Reaccreditation

The undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the Bill Greehey School of Business at St. Mary's University have again earned accreditation from AACSB International. Accreditation by AACSB International represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
