Kathe Lehman-Meyer

Director

Kathe Lehman-Meyer brings extensive corporate experience to her position as Director of the Academic Media Center. She joined the AMC in 2003 after managing corporate communications graphics, video and still photography operations for USAA and Nationwide Insurance and Financial Services. Her last position as Vice President, of The Education Company housed within Nationwide Retirement Solutions, included the development of educational materials and programs for more than two million public employees throughout the United States.

Kathe also serves as an adjunct faculty.

Kathe earned her Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications Management and Certification in Gerontology from Ohio University in 1985 and her Master of Arts in International Telecommunications from Ohio University in 1986. She completed an Interior Design Certification at St. Mary's University in June of 2005.

L. Liza Sanchez

Media Specialist - Audio/Video Production

Liza Sanchez has assisted faculty and students with all production communication classes since 1987. As the Media Specialist-Audio and Video Production at the AMC, she has produced many on-air productions for the University, which include on-campus symposiums and lectures that air on Time Warner's University Channel 19. She works closely with many students and faculty members on campus to produce media projects that will enhance the classroom environment.

Before coming to St. Mary's University, she was employed with KENS-TV, as director, producer and master control operator. Her duties included editing and programming shows, commercials, public service announcements and working on the Eyewitness News production team. She has worked for many local and out-of-state production companies, as well as other Universities in her related field.

She holds a degree of Applied Science in Radio-Television-Film from San Antonio College, and her Bachelor of Arts in English Communication Arts from St. Mary's.

Yolanda G. Ramirez

Media Specialist- Audio/Visual

Yolanda has been with the St. Mary's University family since the fall of 1979. She has more than 25 years providing direct instructional and academic support services through the management of the Audio Visual Center and the Media Viewing Room.

She supervises the twenty work studies supporting the AMC. Yolanda instructs the public address system and the digital projector certification workshops.

Yolanda holds a bachelor of applied management degree from the Alkek School of Business at St. Mary's University, as well as an associate degree in applied science in business management and a supervisory certification from Palo Alto College. She has also been a member of the Marianist Forum.
