Services

Professional staff is available to help the University community create media to support the curriculum and other University endeavors. Students are the main focus and priority of the AMC. Upon arrival, all visitors must check in at the front desk and will be referred to the appropriate service area. Initially, all students using the computers must complete a computer release form acknowledging the facility rules and sign an equipment release form when checking out equipment. Students are responsible for any replacement costs associated with damage to the equipment. Late charges will be incurred for equipment not returned on time.

50 cents for an 8 1/2 by 11 hard lamination
Limited Photography
Camera available for check out.

- Three Megapixels Digital Cameras

Student is responsible for any replacement costs associated with damage. Student must supply the batteries or purchase from the AMC
Video Production

Requires attending a certification workshop.
Mentoring and internships are available by appointment.
In support of their academic work, students can use the multi-camera set up in the studio. They can also use video cameras, lights and audio equipment on location after attending the certification workshop.

Students must supply the videotape or purchase from the AMC
Audio Production Audio Booth and a studio for recording audio into a computer or video camera are available. Students can use either the MAC or PC Platform. Adobe Audition Software is available.
Video Editing

Workshops are offered to learn how to use the software.
MAC G5 computers with 2.5 GHz processors are available with Final Cut Pro Software and Adobe After Effects.
Dell PC Pentium 4 with 3.20 GHz processors are available with Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Encore DVD Creator. Portable hard drives for use in the lab are available for short term use.
Audio/Visual Support and Equipment


Workshops are required for specific equipment use.
Students may check out video (LCD-Data) projectors (requires attending a certification workshop) , monitor combo units with DVD/VCR, audiotape players, CD players, overhead projectors, slide projectors, carousels, screens, microphones, amplifier/speakers, portable public address system (requires attending a certification workshop), carts, and extension cords.

Projectors must be picked up at the AMC can onlt be checked out for 24 hours.
Multimedia Web and Graphic Design Students may use MAC G5 computers with 2.5 GHz processors or Dell PC Pentium 4 with 3.20 GHz processors to create multimedia projects. The following software is available:

- Macromedia MX Studio 2004 w/Flash Pro.
- Adobe Creative Suite (includes photoshop)
- Authorware
- Director
- Quark Express
Media Viewing Room (auditorium style seating for 52)
