The St. Mary's University Drama Department offers opportunities for students to explore, assimilate, and appreciate theatre as performing art. Students can receive a minor (18 hours) in theatre in conjunction with their related major. Majors have been in English, English Communication Studies, Speech Communication, International Relations, Multinational Organization Studies, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Pre-Law, Psychology and Sociology.

The Fox
"The Fox," a play by Allan Miller, and based on the novella by D.H. Lawrence, is about two English women who are struggling to run an isolated farm, but the hens have stopped laying and the henhouse is being raided by a fox. Enter a young soldier who is such an engaging and capable fellow that he is invited to stay on as a hired hand. Who is this mysterious man who eventually dominates life on the farm?
